Igneous Affair is an embodied ritual exploring transformation, perception and awareness. The performance is based on an indigenous practice called temazcal and trataka moving meditation investigating themes of liberation and oppression, discipline, sacrifice, healing and contentment. The performance is an alchemical journey to induce heightened awareness, by burning, cleansing and healing the body, the mind and the energy led by a candle focused on recognizing our inner light and the light in others.
